GRM PODIATRY FOUNDER

Gregor McCoshim FCPodS MChS I am a musculo-skeletal podiatrist who is passionate about health and passionate about sport. My sporting life began in New Zealand age 4 with an early introduction to rugby, swimming and skateboarding. At school in Scotland, cricket, rugby and cross country dominated. Now as long as the body continues to function, running, golf, cycling, dog walking and skiing keep me sane and allows me to compete against my children. Next goal? Another marathon I think, nothing I have done so far matches the emotion of crossing that line. Away from sport, travelling is always a great discovery especially when combined with the local cuisine. I love my garden, DIY and have discovered a fondness for dry stane dyke building. I graduated in Podiatric Medicine in 1991 from the London Foot Hospital and became a Fellow of the Surgical Faculty of Podiatrists in 1996. I worked in the NHS for 11 years and was senior clinical podiatrist at the London Foot Hospital until 2002. On returning to Scotland I started GRM Podiatry to promote and provide high quality foot healthcare. Continued professional development is an integral part of my podiatry diary and I am fortunate to be part of a sports medicine team, therefore exposing myself to new ideas and modern developments, while at the same time allowing me to challenge conventional regimes. Collaboration with fellow professionals is supported with constant review of the current literature and research.
